IDRONAUT since 25 years produces very accurate and miniaturized probes dedicated to profiling and monitoring of ground waters. The OCEAN SEVEN 303/305 probes which present a diameter of only 43 mm, have been specifically designed for GROUND WATER investigations through “boreholes”. The OCEAN SEVEN 303 and OCEAN SEVEN 305 probes in the standard configuration are equipped with seven sensors to measure: Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Reference, Oxidation-reduction potential (REDOX). Ion Selective Sensors (Ammonia, Chloride, Nitrate) can be installed to while Salinity is automatically calculated from conductivity, temperature and pressure sensor signals. The slim line of the probes (2”) and the pressure-compensation of sensors permit operation in fast water profiling or in fixed depth monitoring down to 1500metres depth. Both Ground water probes allow the operator to select the proper conductivity range for salt (0..64 mS/cm) or fresh water (0..6 mS/cm) making these probes a very efficient and advanced tool for investigations of ground waters influenced by salt water intrusion.
